Jose Wrancher (Panama Black) has logged countless hours of experience as a producer and engineer in the music industry. He specialize in various genres of music; rock, gospel, rap, punk, rhythm and blues, country, etc…He is currently the co-owner  of Solid S.T.E.P.S. Recording and Dirictor of the audio/video dept at the Chance Theatre Complex in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Panama Black has mastered the design, installation, and operation of sound/video recording, reinforcement and broadcasting equipment. He is responsible for recording, editing, manipulating, mixing and/or mastering by technical means in order to realize an artist's and/or producers creative vision. He has decades of experience involved in dealing with a wide range of applications, including post-production for video and film, live sound reinforcement, advertising, multimedia and  broadcasting, while working together with record producers, engineers and video directors.


He has served as the Business & Technology Instructor for S.U.N.Y.Orange County Community College Liberty Partnership Program and currently serves as the Engineer Training Instructor for the Newburgh Performing Arts Academy.


Damon Finch brings to this venture over a decade of experience in sales and marketing. He has experience in coordinating all aspects of R&D, manufacturing, production, distribution, sales and customer service. He identifies customers and distribution channels, new markets, and performs research studies to see which markets should be developed. He continually monitors the successful of Solid S.T.E.P.S. Recording. He understands the need to monitor customers for information needed to improve product, service performance and improve marketing communications.

The team of Solid S.T.E.P.S. Recording has hosted a tribute to God Father of Soul James Brown for his daughter’s Deana Brown and Dr. Yamma Brown. They have been featured in the Hudson Valley Press, Mid-Hudson Times, The Sentinel and The Times Herald Record. They are the official video-graphers for the City of Newburgh and routinely participate in the Last Saturdays Festivities for the City of Newburgh.
